Item returned not long enough

I have bought these exact same shorts the previous year, the blue shorts tend to fade the quickest and so I replaced them. Unfortunately, despite buying the same size (34” waist) the shorts are much bigger and baggier, I wore them once but am not happy with them and I’m unlikely to wear them again now (unless I put on 10kilos!).
